New version of the old Cosmodelia's synth of the same name. We have designed a fresh GUI, 64 new presets and automation of all parameters. It's a 2 oscillator analog style synth, specially geared to the creation of spatial FXs, ambient textures and experimental music.
I love this VST. I used it very often when making my first album for F13. The presets are awesome and the manner in which you can customize them are very straight forward. I would recommend this VST to any and all musicians, its perfect for background noise at the very least.
Preset based synth???
Thought synths are VCO, VCF, ADSR, VCA, OSC, MOD, ENV, FILTER etc. interconnections :D
I didn't check it yet, but have to check, because site contains more freeware stuff, which will be very interesting.
I'm looking for one more drum machine for my set up. It'll be hardware not software, but anyway, nice plugin addition to your corner in some cases will do great job. If you are deep into computer world and want to put regular money in your computer stuff, but don't want to spend much money for more expensive hardware stuff what uses more space in your recording room, you have to buy a lot of software what uses more and more of your computer resources with every update or new version release.
Cool thing is that there are nice guys who don't want to let you down with your computer stuff and give you free tools for creative job. In my case, I don't want to use those VST's as main tools for music creation, but it's worth to check how they are working because of different synthesis methods used in them.
One more thing. If you want to get some hardware for your set up, first you can check through software to get some clue, which VST sounds closer to what you want to get from stuff for what you gonna spend your money.
My experience - hardware is more flexible than software, because you can put all of your fingers, toes and even nose on it, if you want to tweak something special out of the box :) I never achieved so much flexibility with software which is very helpful within some specific tasks indeed.
Peace,
TT
Just a bit off topic... :)
how are you handling all connections in JACK. Are you using all connections just for one session or is there some way to save projects for later access with the same settings?
